Contract Position
Job Description:
Perform Static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis for Aircraft structures
Use of classical hand calculation approach to analyze both primary and secondary structures
Understanding of load paths, extraction of loads from Finite Element Models
Determination of critical failure modes and performing analysis to ensure structural integrity
Analysis of both metallic & composite structures
Determination of dispositions for structural non conformances
7Co-ordinate with cross functional groups including Design, Materials & Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Liaison Engineering, and on
Participate in review meetings with Customer and Suppliers
Engineering Stress report generation and review
Interact with customer; prepare Scope of Work, laydown the execution methodology to ensure that the projects executed meet the customer requirements
Required Qualifications
At least Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
At least 5 years (<18years) of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer
Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures
Having Hands on experience in one or more Finite Element Post Processing Tools (e.g. PATRAN)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in providing technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage
Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems
Experience in performing Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis
Working knowledge of Boeing standards
Working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 25
Experienced in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP
Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
Strong oral and written communication skills
